Define your future with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Arts Illustration

The work of illustrators is all around us in books and magazines, medical and scientific journals and commercial signs, posters and advertisements, product packaging, on the web and, of course, in art galleries and museums. The Studio Arts – Illustration concentration prepares you for success in any of these fields.

At Edinboro, the curriculum is rich and diverse. You will explore a wide range of media and gain skills necessary for strong design, content and context. Four faculty members with broad experience in the sub-fields of editorial, medical and scientific, commercial and children’s book illustration will serve as your mentors. They will guide you as you create an aesthetic and a cohesive portfolio.

Along the way, you will cultivate a professional demeanor with well-rounded, problem-solving skills. Upon graduation, you will be ready to engage the diverse opportunities that await today’s highly trained illustrators. No portfolio review is necessary prior to admission.
